People often said we should get a new dog before the old one carked it - so we have done just that. We didn’t get a puppy, -too much training- so we got a middle-aged dog. Such a pleasant change from that elderly mutt.

I posted a picture of her two posts ago, taken on New Year's Eve.

There is one of just her and one with other people.

If you are comming to Liz's picnic today, then Wombie will be there. We are just about to go and buy some picnic food to bring. I am taking the whole family, me, Allen, Wombie, and little "Bob". Hope to see you there! (according to my preggo book, Bob is 14 cm long!

ah yes, that dog picture. I was wondering where that particular animal fitted in to everything. She looks very nice. As for picnic...am sadly at work all day so will miss it and your esteemed company! We must attend the same one some time soon, I am very much interested to see Bob's progress!

Yes, little old ladies and gents just love her! They stop in the park and have a chat...... "How's it going old fella? Hey?"

Okay, for the benefit of people who just scan the entries, we do not really have a new dog, it is just that Wombie's arthritis treatment has shown a positive effect and it is as if we have a new dog. Same old dog, just a better attitude towards life in general since it is easier for her to do things.

Please do not ring up asking about the new dog.

Don't try to change the dog, that's impossible. Just remember, there is no dog.

NO, I think I am the idiot. I thought it was obvious but people who like yourself are very intelligent have rang up and SMSed for info on the new dog. Next time I will be more explicit at the end of the post.
