Baby's first trip to the library.
This was back in September but I never seemed to get time to tell anyone about it back then. Here’s a picturegraphic essay of Patrick's first trip to the library. In case you're wondering Patrick is asleep right now on my lap. (I'm using the voice recognition software again of course)
I took him there in the pram. He doesn't use the pram anymore now - he goes in the stroller instead. His less likely to cry is head off in the stroller as opposed to the pram, and anyway he doesn't fit in the bassinette any more.
I went to register him and he and he has his own library card now, with the words "baby's first library card"! (Boy I was still big back then!) The librarians were very helpful and happy to pose for photographs.
I got out a few baby books for him. It was story time, and after story time they always have a children's activity. Patrick was a bit young for the activity so I did it for him: you get to make little badges. I made a badge and put his name on it.
