Technically unless you're under contract with a company, they can fire you for just about anything they want unless it is one of the protected classes in MI: gender, age, sex, race, color, religion, family/marriage status, and disabilities.

Dude I know how you feel! I cant say much for AMC, however Loews...well F&*& them too! When I quit I gave my 2 weeks and even submitted a letter. They gave me the option to stay the 2 weeks or leave the same day. So I left the same day. They processed it as in involuntary termination. What BS! Kendra lied through her F*&^**9 teeth to get me out of there. That was the biggest waste of time for me. All I got to say is you really have to kiss some ass to move up or get on your knees depending who you are. That really sucks man. I'll let you know if I hear of anything.
