Do you have a favourite? As bad as it is, I have to be honest. LoKe is MY boy. He's - *sighs* - my dream! I love the other two but Danny is so damned difficult, as is Jiana. Even though she's the baby, she doesn't have my heart quite like LoKe does. Which, I think, is a good thing. My love for him scares me. Scares me. If you know what I mean.
Oddly enough, I truly don't have a favorite. At least not now.... I remember talking about this with my sister, who has 3 kids... and she told me that the love she feels for all 3 is the same, but that there ARE moments when you might feel closer to one or the other. It changes. Depending on their moods, depending on yours.
I remember thinking it would be impossible for me to love my second baby as much as my first... and even though there ARE differences (I don't have the first-time mother paranoid syndrome as much!) I feel the same love for both. It amazes me. I think having a favorite would make more sense!
That seems to be the common thought. I guess I'm just not normal. *grins*
I don't think it's very good having a favourite. I'm going to have to watch it as they get older so that they don't notice. But - don't kids always notice?
I kinda hope that as she grows, my love also grows. Or my love for LoKe diminishes. Or something. At least so it equals out.
