update:

looks like i'm not getting there anytime soon by myself...the car i have all month would NEVER make it and even if it could, mother is suspicious and is telling me the only thing i can use it for is going to work and back..she even said: "i dont want you out of the state with that car"

so unless you can find someone else who wants to lug me along for the ride, it looks like i wont be coming to see you anytime soon...sorry...
