[This...was very strange, as dreams went.

For one thing, more things actually made sense than not. There was a house, though not her own, a floor and doors that worked as expected, and so on. She didn't have her wings, but this was a dream; sometimes she didn't. It didn't trouble her much.

[The final member of Flandre's new household manages to notice her just as she's coming back from a trip to the post office. She's much stranger-looking than the two humans Flandre met earlier; gray skin, yellow eyes, fangs and horns... but she smiles at the little girl when she spots her flopped over on the lawn.]
