His reaction is one of obvious surprise, nearly losing his balance. He looks back at the boy who bumped him and gives him a slight grin.
"Don't worry about it." His voice should be familiar to Kaito--it had barely changed in seven years, still almost childish. He winks a spiral eye, holding up a coin in his hand. "Almost dropped this."
So, Kamina was just enjoying his day looking around the city. If it could be called so, the city's condition is apparently worse than his old village, and that, actually, spoke volumes about the difference between this strange, above-ground, advanced village, contrary to the more primitive underground ones.
Of course. This being Kamina, he's a bit distracted, thinking about Simon, how life is apparently different for him here, etc.
It wasn't so much a bump as Nia practically whipping around the corner in a very un-princess-like manner on her way to visit Simon. This of course meant that the already unusual sight of an unaccompanied young girl in fine clothing under a pink hoodie ran head first into the man and nearly fell back from the impact.
"Oh, my apologies, Good Sir," she said, taking a few steps back and bowing deeply, long white curls falling around her and nearly touching the ground as she did so, "I should have been more careful."
"I'm fine. And don't call me Princess. My name is Nia," she told him with a small huff before smiling. She had stopped questioning how people knew who she was when someone pointed out the newspaper articles to her.

Freezing where he stood.
A moment of shock passed over his face before he grinned. "Keep your head up."

Kamina cut off mid-sentence, as his head just turned to face the stranger's head.
...No freaking way. He can recognize that face anywhere, even if grown up. That, and the voice doesn't really help either.

But he plays it cool, anyway. He's seen a lot of people he should know here, and it isn't helping his hope to fade into a no-one.
He bows in return, something he's mastered in seven years and a different world. Unlike his younger counterpart, he also reads the news paper.
"Forgive me, Princess. Are you hurt?"
