There are rumors on the streets. To be fair there are always rumors on the streets, but these ones are different. Whispers of people from the furthest reaches of the multiverse just suddenly up and appearing in the Kingdom with nary a clue as to why they were here. It wasn't as simple as the foreigners beginning to litter the streets from the

Fuu, of course, was not a contact. She was also not from this world.

She was also quite lost.

That isn't to say she had a particular destination in mind. Just that the streets of the Mushroom Kingdom had lead her far from where she had arrived (incredibly confused and wondering why she was sleeping on a bench). The breeder-costume clad girl had obviously never stepped foot on dangerous streets before, her hand never leaving the pocket where her pokeballs were stored. She'd never learned the lesson to not touch where valuables were kept.

But failure to be street smart aside, Fuu did manage to stumble into Samus, who seemed friendly enough to ask, "Excuse me... do you have any idea where I am?"

Samus gave her a once over. Cute outfit. Must be from Red's neck of the woods--or one like it. She'd heard of another Red roaming the streets around here and it was hard

"Not home, that's for sure," she said, glancing up and down the street to make sure there weren't any thugs around. Usually Samus simply being present was enough to deter them, but such an obviously defenseless girl like this would definitely have caught some attention from a couple of blow hards around the area.

"Where you from, kid? Maybe I can help you find a way back."

Obviously defenseless my foot. Fuu packed enough power in one pocket to wipe out a few dozen low-grade thugs. And probably then some.

"Well, I'm not looking so much for where I am from. Rather, I seem to have gotten lost on my way to Goldenrod City. I... do not quite remember how I arrived here." She sighs, perhaps a bit dramatically. "There is always the possibility I was blown off course, but I have never been anywhere like this before."

Oh! So she was from Johto, was she? Well, now, then this girl probably had some firepower behind her. Samus liked the idea very much.

"Well, this is pretty much as far from Johto as you could possibly get, but maybe I can see about setting you up with a ride back if you like."

If, of course, the Johto she knew was the same one Red was from. If this girl was one of the otherworlders she had heard the rumors about then she was SOL. Samus was a lot of things, but a dimensional traveler wasn't one of them. She was fairly certain she didn't have any contacts who would send this girl home for nothing if that were the case. Not in this day and age.
