Civil marriage between people of the same sex is legal as from today in Argentina. I'm just so proud of my country right now.

Also, I stopped by the act some organizations arranged in front of the Parliament to wait for the votes -it was a 15-hours-long debate- and they had some bands to pass the time and the polar wave (nice picture of the event ( Read more... )

Unfortunately My country is still in the dark ages. Cuteness of Penguins! one of my favorite non flying birds. except now they can, but only when they want to show off. Also this is 10 days later so you should be married now right?

Penguins are like the best birds ever.
And no, I'm still not married haha. In fact, I'm actually too young to be -just 20- but that doesn't stop me from being happy for all of those who can and are doing it now that the law was passed.
Where do you live, btw?

I Live in the US of A(holes). so it'll be awhile before our government realizes that gay people are people too.

Don't worry, it's only a matter of time :) I didn't think it was possible here either, but look at how things turned out. Plus, I think there are some states where same sex marriage is allowed, right?
Also, on a side note: you're amazing for calling your country USA instead of America. Most people forget that it's the name of a whole continent, not just one country. So, yeah, awesome you!
