Ok, soemone who could actually be a a neglectful owner to a betta should NEVER have pets...or any spawn for that matter.

Aw, that's sad! I didn't know you had a hermit crab. I remember once I tried to take some hermit crabs home from Galveston when I was younger, but I didn't know any better and I drowned them accidentally in the bucket of sea water I brought them home in. I was 9 and I still feel guilty about it. :(

Well, I have another crab named Navy. He's alone now, but something tells me crabs don't really get lonely.
Are you still thinking of getting those rats? I want some guinea pigs! They make that cute little whimper-like noise!

Yeah, I'm still thinking about the rats. I'm waiting to a couple more weeks to make sure it's more than an impulse.

I've never actually owned any guinea pigs myself, but they are a really big under-taking. They're basically like taking care of a rabbit, and rabbits are a lot of work (as I've probably complained about before).
