I was asked by Dithu tonight, if because I wanted the Groves multiple to be "City of Angels" and because I was emotionally attached to forensics if throughout the year I would become obsessed with it. He referenced the fact that I referred to it as my multiple and even went as far to suggest that I would get anxiety from not preforming ( Read more... )

I just thought I'd let you know that I very much relate to the sentiment of "I miss it, but I'd never go back."

its not that judges were racist/homophobic or sexist, its just that rocky horror wasn't that good...

who? wha?

FUCK YOU.

I'd like you to support your unfounded claim with evidence.

And to be perfectly fair, forensics is highly objective. But your opinion is simply wrong

rocky horror is a great show. however, not all great musicals are suited for high school forensics pieces. herego, rocky horror was not that good. not to say the talent within the multiple wasn't superb...im sure all of the actors and actresses were more than capable. having said that, the lit choice wasn't brilliant. the problem with doing a rock n roll type multiple is that the signature rock n roll sounds, like heavy drums, distorted guitar, etc. are hard to re-create vocally. so when you sing "insa-ee-a-ee-ane" it really drives me insane. all in all, rocky horror was a good multiple. it just wasn't great.
