Oh, I really enjoyed The Leftovers! I watched it all topsy-turvy. Saw the second season, then the third, finally the first and then the second and third again. LOL!

What are YOU doing?

Trying to convince people to vote for me ;) ?
Mostly, catching up on some work stuff and relaxing at home, since it is raining buckets. Later on, maybe sew some new masks...and eat the apple pie I made yesterday with the fall from our tree :)

All my old LJ friends who aren't on LJ any more! I've been on this site since 2003...so many have come and gone! There were times one got 50 comments like nothing on an entry! I miss those times!

That's nice that you were able to connect with them again and ask them to vote for you. I know you felt like maybe it was unfair that other people had some friends who would vote for them. Looks like you didn't really have to worry about that in the end. You have a lot of people supporting you :)

I actually have a three day weekend this weekend, so in many ways it feels like the weekend has just started for me, which is exciting. Of course, since the poll closes Monday night, I can't guarantee that my little mini-vacation won't be spent watching them like a hawk. These numbers are unlike any we've really seen this season so far; it definitely making for interesting poll-watching (it also makes me feel quite a bit better that I came in fourth, since I don't think I'd be able to drum up these kind of numbers if I tried)!

Let's see, I am anxiously awaiting the beginning of school tomorrow. I should probably water all of my plants today since it didn't rain yesterday like it was supposed to. It's just me for dinner tonight so the big question is do I cook for myself or do I order out?

These are the very important decision going on in my life this weekend!

The question at the end of the day is always not "Why should I win?" but what am I willing to do/not willing to do in order to win?

You can use this finale as an example of why tiered cash prizes would be a bad idea.

Yeah. I was just thinking about this. How important is it to you to win a writing contest with no prize? No judgement, it’s just a question everyone must answer for themselves. I’ve seen things already and thought, “I’m not going to do that”, and if that makes me lose, so be it. Ultimately, regardless of the craziness of this final vote or the outcome, we came here to write. And we did, everyone who participated, we wrote our hearts out.
