Apart from writing for LJ idol and slowly reading the entries everyone else posted... I slept a lot and watched TV a lot. But I also cleaned, and prepared for the week ahead.
I have to dust off my CV because I am looking for a job. There is (virtual) a job fair soon and I am nervous. I also have to make some doctor's appointments I do not want to go to.
Are we allowed to have a beta reader for our entries? Not sure I'll have time for this one, but want to know for future reference.
I spent the weekend continuing in quarantine because I tested positive for Covid. I'm fully vaccinated and have had a very mild case but staying away from my husband at opposite ends of our house is not fun. Thankfully he continues to test negative so our quarantine is working. Third positive test for me this morning. :( So quarantine continues . . . I've gotten a lot of reading finished . . .
You are definitely allowed to have a beta reader, so no fear there :)
Oof. I hope that you manage to test negative pretty quick! I had COVID in October (caught it at work, woo), so I know what you mean about how much quarantine sucks.
I rarely have 2 days off work consecutively so saturday was one of my days not at work but I had lots of house work to do then sunday, had two coworkers not show up for work, so lots of chaos from that. fairly normal.
The weekend was nice, productive, peaceful. I made it to a writing workshop and then the farmer's market. Monday has been crap, rainy and cold, but that's the nature of it.
Well, I traded out some empty candles jars with a local vendor who makes yummy soy candles (and picked up a few more candles), and I picked up some homemade dog treats for my brat, and a bottle of peach wine from a local winery. I missed the vegan cookies, though, they were all sold out!
Oh, trades payments are super cool! It's so neat to have that relationship with a maker. And yay for peach wine - I just tried May wine for the first time last night and it was delicious - it's made with woodruff (a sort of grassy herb) and strawberries. Very spring like and sweet. Hope your brat enjoys the treats too!
Eeeep! It’s already Monday night. But I finally posted my entry and appeased the weird Russian LJ gods with a monetary sacrifice so I don’t have to see ads anymore when I look at other peoples’ journals. And now I can see and access all my old user pics again. The passage of time is weird.

Yeah, I thought I'd test negative this morning, but hopefully in the next day or two.
