I read everything and voted! Some good entries this week. I found out a few others went in a similar direction as I did, but honestly, I appreciated it - it was nice connecting with others who understand and reading their experiences about it.
I have a jugular ultrasound on Valentine’s Day. Just a regular check up (I had a blood clot in my jugular from my port and it’s dissolving/things are going in the right direction so nothing to stressful). Other than that, probably not doing much. My husband and I don’t go out much, the Covid numbers are still too high for comfort and I’m immunocompromised. I’m not worried about it though. We have our two year wedding anniversary coming up too :)
Omg! Two years already!? Yeah…between COVID issues and my hub being both a cancer and heart attack survivor, we have laid low on going out and just getting carry out instead.
Yep, two years. We got married in March 2020 right before things got wild.
We have pretty much quarantined most of the last two years. With my autoimmune conditions, then cancer, and he has asthma, we just don’t want to risk it.
I have to return a video game to the library tomorrow and I haven't played it yet so I'm going to try that out this morning. I borrowed it mainly to see if it was one I'd want to buy anyway.
Sometime this afternoon I'm hoping to to a LEGO stream with my son on Twitch/YouTube/Facebook, because we picked out a couple of sets we could build for the Valentine's theme, and this afternoon is the best time for us to fit it in, I think. Might try and finish season one of Daredevil with my other kid (we have two episodes left).
Happy anniversary for Monday, Gary! In case I forgot on the actual day.
Awh, happy anniversary, Gary! This weekend I am mostly catching up on work that couldn't be done this week (boo). I am trying to take some time to myself, though, as work burn out last year was very real.
I’ve finished reading and voting - phew! I love Idol because you get such a wide mix of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, essays, slice-of-life entries, etc.
Hubby and I will be going out for Italian food on Monday (probably to Olive Garden). Today it’s just laundry and relaxation.
