Definitely not speaking for everyone, but I can write an entry faster than I can read 48 other people's entries - heck, after Survivor Idol, I can write two entries in a day! - so I am okay with this trade-off :)

I agree - it’s usually quicker to write an entry (depending on “real life” issues) than to read a bunch.

Same for me. Coming up with an idea might take some time but especially lately where I’m trying not to stress too much about what I write, I’ve been knocking things out pretty quickly (and because I have to, I usually only a limited time to write anyway). I work best under pressure lol

lol, seriously - Survivor Idol really helped hone my ability to crank out entries! But I appreciate the extra reading time; that I'm a little slower with. I think I'm about halfway done now, so maybe a week and a half is a little long but I definitely prefer more reading time. :)

Thank the gods. I can write much faster than I can read! My ears are tired already listening to the entries on breakneck speed with my screen reader!

Oh, I'm so glad this helps you then!! I have auditory processing difficulties and I think having to ramp up audible listening/comprehension would have me in tears!

Yeah, no, I may be in the minority. This is definitely worse for me. I am a slow writer. Oh well!

yep, this is absolutely worse for me too! i can read fast and reading entries usually takes me around 2h. commenting. writing def takes me more time when combined with other stuff i need to do, other things i have to write, and coming up with the idea 😣

Thank you! I didn't say anything on the voting post, but I was certainly thinking I would not have enough time to read everything in 3 days. This is a lot more manageable for me, and I'm totally fine with a shorter writing period.
