I had previously said that the new FAQ was going to be "something special". In another place I said "unique".

It's both. Because for the first time, I let someone else put it together! :)

Late Commenter League: Often the Green Room comments run well into the second or third pages or longer, and it can feel like what you want to say won't even get read, but you can't help that the GR posted on 'merica time, and you live in California or New Zealand or Russia (all locales of past contestants). Go ahead! Some of us just got off the late shift, and don't mind hitting Page 5 to put in our two-cents worth. One of us will usually kick things off with a subject-line like "Late Commenter League: A funny thing happened today" and then all the bored Kiwis and other cool kids can jump on and chat. If this hasn't happened yet, go ahead and post it yourself; LCL membership is free and open to all.

You can type "<" and ">" to make the brackets < and > show up without needing to tell people to substitute. :)

Social Media

It's not in the FAQs (because I didn't think to mention it). But anyone around for the last mini-season might remember that I was going to have a contest on FB where people could suggest topics.

After the dust settled, what people said is if they *knew ahead of time* that there would be social media outreach that they would have been OK with it.

Consider this your notice. :)

Nothing is required to be on any other social media and none of the things happening there will directly influence a vote here. But I will be trying to get more readers during the course of the season. How well it will work - I don't know. But I'm going to be trying.

Also, how do I go about getting the participant icon? I've never had one of those before. I've seen people with them, but I don't recall ever seeing a post that says HERE IS THE PARTICIPATION ICON, CLICK HERE IF YOU WANT IT :/
