Ah I tried to quit smoking today. I made it to 11.30am. I'll try again tomorrow, perhaps I'll make it to midday

So weird to imagine peach blossoms when all the leaves here are shades of gold, yellow and orange. This time of year, apples are at their peak and I get both my mom and mother-in-law's bounty from their apple trees! It's enough to turn out an entire army's worth of pies. Need apples? ;) To make it worse, this new house has a small apple tree out back!

LMAO I have the same problem with laundry detergent, my mother in law keeps finding them on sale and sending me boxes of it. You can feed the army and I'll wash their clothes lol

Thanks! I made it to 12.30 today, that's an hour extra. LMAO I wonder if I can quit like that? Yep I might go trudge off to do some editing now :D how is your writing?

Maybe so. Years ago I had a friend who quit by using a timer system, where she gradually stretched the period between cigarettes out farther and farther. To me that's just prolonging the torture, but it worked for her. Quitting seems to be different for everyone, so I would try everything 'til I found the one that worked for me. Drinking lots of fluids seems to help almost everyone though (as long as it isn't liquor...or maybe liquor is the secret answer! LOL Trading nicotine addiction for alcoholism maybe not so good though, teehee.)

Writing was good, until I went to a chat. Now I'm in chat recovery mode, lol. Thanks for asking, though.
