Disclaimer: What happened at Viginia Tech was horrible and people should be outraged. My point (following) is that we should ALSO be outraged at other aspects of violence in society; I'm not trying to diminish the impact of the VT massacre.I have 2 points

Joel I couldn't agree with you more.

I'm so tired of people saying guns don't kill people, people kill people. Fine I'll concede that point if people will agree that: people will inevitably make rash, stupid (and sometime violent) decisions and it's a bad idea for there to be any loaded weapons in easy access WHEN THEY DO.

I heard someone on the radio this morning saying she was offended that international news sources kept referring to US gun culture. "We don't have a gun culture!" I started laughing.
