Yeahhh...it's going to take a while for the boys to re-learn how to interact with each other. Both have a lot of hurts/issues that are hard to see past right now, but at their core, they love each other.

And thank you so much!!! :D I'm going to try to get another few chapters written this weekend, and hopefully I'll be able to get the next one up on here by Monday. :]

Ouchy ouchy ouchy. This made my heart hurt. I can see they need it to move forward (plus hurt/comfort always good) but *cries*

They are soooo going to butt heads for a while. I'm onboard for more! <3

Ahahaha, I wish I could say I was sorry it made your heart hurt, but I'm glad it had the effect I was hoping for :P But yes, I love me some hurt comfort.

I can see Sam reacting like that to Dean's attempt at comfort and then, some hard truth.

I am dying to know more about this fight...and why it kept Dean away for a year. Did his feelings for Sammy come out? Wait, don't tell me...I hate spoilers...but oh-so-impatient. Great story so far; the pacing is perfect and love your characterization of the boys.

I'm really happy the pacing is working out--that's something I always struggle with, and I've been working hard on it! I'm glad it was noticed! :D
