First I have to apologize that it took me that long to read the lovely, lovely fic you wrote for me in this exchange. I was sick for a week and took a lj hiatus and then had to catch up with a lot of work.

I love what you did here, how you created a light and playful mood but still stayed true to the FNL setting and the characters. Matt's tentativeness, Julie's sweetness and Grandma Saracen playing the matchmaker. It made me all very, very giddy.

“Sorry about that. She just gets so into the Christmas spirit, you know,” he smiles the same self-deprecating grin she fell in love with. She smiles back.

I love your tiny little details. Like how wondefully you described the nature of Matt's smile there. Things like that pull you into the moment. Thank you so much! *hugs*
