This was lovely in a lot of different ways. I specially loved that Rory was given a starring role and that Katniss was able to work out her demons. Thanks for not fixing it though! I kind of like that the Gale/Katniss issues are still as poignant as Collins made them (though the canon ending was godawful IMHO).

My heart aches a lot for this piece. I like that you mentioned Peeta, even though it really is Gale/Katniss, and I love your characterization of Rory. Idk why I like fic that's technically canon-compliant, but this totally hit that spot, too.

Jesus, this isn't fair. This is breaking my heart so much. Can this be the real epilogue? With the Hawthornes in D12 and Rory is perfect. Kinda wanna go cry now.
