Okay... please don't hate me if this is lame. I must keep repeating that I really don't know what I'm doing. :P

Today, I'm gonna teach you the basics to reading hangul. The components of the hangul alphabet are known as Jamo. There are 51 of them. Yes, yes. I know you are probably groaning to yourself, "Why so many?" but it sure beats learning 600

No, there's some other symbols that are confusing even to me, so I left them out for now. ^^

Btw, if ever, what's interesting is to learn enough Korean to be able to surf through Korean blogs. And make basic comments on Korean blogs. 'Coz they post a lot of "goodies":) Also, to know enough Korean to be able to register a naver account. I heard that you have to call this number and they ask for identification or something...not sure though whether it's automated or a real person that answers. Oh, yeah, another cool thing would be to learn enough Korean to be able to understand clubbox more efficiently:)

PS: Random comment--the shopping, food, spa is just great in Seoul. I wasn't able to sightsee so much because I went during winter ( with snow!!! ) Sorry, is used to California weather~~~

Haha, yeah... being able to understand Clubbox would be awesome. Though using an online translator at least helped me create my account. XD

I wonder if I'll ever know enough Korean for these types of things. ^^

HAHAHA... yes. I think the first thing I learn is that, too, and 동방신기. Jaejoong is actually written out in hangul on my learning sheet. Why it's Jae and not Min, I don't remember. Ah well.

ilbon is a word that starts with a vowel and the syllable 'il' also starts with a vowel, so you'd need to use ㅇ first. Therefore: 일본.

Sand or morae wouldn't have a separate a and e, you would use the one together: 모래.
Same with noraebang. ^^

Hangul symbols cannot go by themselves, so for woman or yeoja you need to use the ㅇ again. 여자.

Other than that, it looks good. :D You'll be a pro in no time. <3333333

So...I knew most of this already (I think I looked up the letters online...and I've seen a lot of them many times before xD), but I'm sure others haven't really looked up this. :) Anyways, it is better than learning the gazillion kanji...xD

And I finally figured out this whole "writing-in-korean-on-the-computer" thing!

Yeah, j and ch are sometimes used interchangeably, but it's hard to know which, I find. Like Changmin's name, the ch' version is used and I don't quite know why. ^^

Then you typed morae as murae, and noraebang as nuraebang. Oh dear. This is what happens when I skim. I would be a bad teacher when correcting stuff.
