Ok. So I haven't written anything for a looong while and now this comes out. Sorry, but UGH!
So, I watched the latest ep of Glee just now. And it really made me so mad. There is something called propaganda. And that's what this ep felt like for me. If Kurt would have gone and said that he believed in god at the end I would have puked and never ( Read more... )

I know what you mean. If Kurt had had some kind of ~change of heart~ at the end I would have been pretty disgusted with all of it, but I'm glad he stuck to his guns. But I really didn't like the way that it kept being okay for people to force their beliefs on him. Like having a prayer circle over his dad and bothering him to come to church. Why was it okay for them to keep doing that to him? And why was it so okay in the end?

I think I was okay with... what I interpreted to be the point - like it's bigger than religion, it's about people caring about each other, like a prayer is as much as a good wish from another person to you as it is a request directly to god (and this was parodied with the Grilled Chesus LOL) but yeah I STILL didn't like the way they kept forcing it on Kurt and that was just acceptable behavior. Really weird.

Yeah I'll just move on from this ep, like you. XD

Yes thank god Kurt stood by his believes. Yes it really annoyed me that it was so ok to poor their believes onto him. And then how Sue was all T____T about not believing in god. >___<

Yes. I understand that they wanted to say something beyond "hey! you should believe in JEESUUUUS!" but it was really badly executed.

Yes, this is not a rewatch ep for sure. XD

I haven't watched more than a couple of episodes of Glee, so I haven't watched it and I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I can relate to a lot of your rage D: I come from a country that's hiiiiighly religious and to an extent, multi-religious, so it feels sort of awkward to be thinking, "...what." at everybody XD ( ... )

Yeees. I don't even know how it is to have all that religion around you, since Sweden is fairly non-religious and all, but I know the feeling of beaing all O__o at religious people. XD

No, of course not. Any religion has been used to torment people, all around the world. But being from a mostly christian country and with everything going on here now, with the sweden democrats proclaiming that "the muslims" are the biggest threat to Sweden today, I really have a need to point out what christianity has done to people during the ages.
Well, I'm just really a strong opposer to any form of religion and for me it's christianity in particular since I see so much hypocrisy about it around me.

Yes. It's a dark era for Sweden, and the rest of Europe too. There are blowing racist winds all over Europe and it really, really sucks.

Hiii Athu! :D I miss you too!! I need to be around more to talk to you~ ♥

Not seeing Glee but: Urgh. Whatever the context, people shouldn't force their opinion on others - isn't all this about respect? Sometimes I feel ashamed to say I'm Christian for that very same reason - I feel ashamed to be related to such people... Idk. Isn't God supposed to be about the love and compassion and respect? Why do people contradict what they preach? It just makes me kind of mad (& sad)
