Happy Birthday!

You know, if something like that happened to me, I don't think any suspense film or television show would ever be effective again. ^_^

Of course, if something like that happened to me, I'd have to wonder what went wrong...not that I have a problem with C-sections, of course, but rather I am a dude....

HAPPY BIRTH-day!
I too had C sections.. 4 of them actually, and a then a little over 2 years ago, a cancerous tumor the size of a softball that was removed throught the same C-section scar that was already there.

People who haven't had to go through the experience of a dangerous labor and almost losing their child before they are even born, Just don't understand what it's like. the feeling of helplessness, knowing their baby is trapped inside them and can't be delivered (in my case because he was 11.2 lbs) and then have that baby STOP breathing! stop MOVING! and feel so HELPLESS!! And the WAITING!!! the not KNOWING!! Not to mention the recovery...
With that said...

HAPPY BIRTH-day

I was fortunate that none of them were ever in too much distress. They just had huge heads!! Wow, an 11 pound baby?!! Were you late or did you have gestational diabetes? How old are you children? The recovery is the worst part because you have other children to take care of. I did have help the first 2 weeks so that worked out well. With the birth of Emma, my first, I did not get to really see her until 4 hours after she was born and by then everyone had already seen her. It was very upsetting. Fortunately with the others I was at a different hospital. I got to nurse both of them soon after they were born. In fact, I remember Ella did not even have a diaper on yet. I can still feel her tiny bottom through that hospital blanket. They are so sweet when they are that little. Then they grow up! :P Any time you want to do a little reminiscing about child birth, send it my way!
