Well, Perry's only a member of CPR, not the founder. But CPR has taken some heavy hits publicly in the past year or so for defending and touting complaints which turned out to be false. So I'm not surprised that they're playing along with the official press version - add that to the fact that Perry hasn't issued any statements even through his immediate family that he's innocent.
