Bright, sunshiney day -

We shot C & D's wedding on Saturday in what turned out to be a much brighter day than anyone hoped for. The weather was brilliant, and our couple was brilliant too. They were absolutely hilarious to work with, as you'll see in these photos, and soldiered on. Thanks, guys, for a wonderful day!

The fisheye at that reflecting pool is one of my favorite things. So far, I haven't seen any other photographers in the area that use it and I always wonder why.

Do you guys use a flash normally for your indoor shots? My indoor shots for this past wedding were awful. I had no flash, plus my "indoor lens" didn't arrive. I am really discouraged.

Oh, that really sucks. We each have a couple of speedlights at our disposal for indoor venues. We typically only use one at a time but having a backup is indispensible. We also have studio lights (Alien Bees) that can be used in the corners for fill light.

Bounced flash is a wonderful asset!! (Another pricey thing to buy, but really improves low light photos A LOT)- I hated the indoor photos for the wedding I did for M&W- particularly the group shots that had no windows around. After that, I went out & got myself a flash.

that first one is a great shot! If you darken the sky up a bit it'll really become stunning. I really like the ring shot too. I need a fisheye lens.

We just got a new masking program. I'm sure we could use that to really make the sky pop.
