Aimee and BJ's Wedding -

We photographed Aimee and BJ's wedding this last weekend and it was such a lovely affair. Their theme was green, and it was more than just a color statement. The event was held at McIver Park, to reduce the resources used, and every effort was made to have the wedding be as sustainable and simple as possible. But it was not only all of those things

These are really amazing- and this is how I'd do it if I had it to do again. The ceremony looks incredible.

I've always had a secret wish to get married under a giant oak tree. I saw a ceremony, years ago, with the tree lit up by tiny candles in mason jars that had been hung in the tree and it's stuck in the back of my mind ever since. And the solidness of the tree makes such a perfect allegory to marriage...

Exactly. I think it's the perfect simplicity that permeates the photos. Maybe that's just your talent, though.

I love the green details. That japanese maple boutonniere is brilliant.
