Sorry for being relatively quiet lately. There hasn't been a lot going on. Went to a couple shows over the weekend. Transient played. Thrones did, too. Pussygutt played at the Thrones show. They're quickly becoming my new favorite local band. Missed Toxic Holocaust and Coliseum, unfortunately, due to lack of money. Shit happens, I guess.

I relate to most of the things you've mentioned on this post.
I wish I could have someone around here worth commiting to, but it's hard, and I tend to be a magnet for people who are dating.

Ugh... seasonal allergies suck ass. I'm glad they are over for me here.

I met a girl tonight that I like. I hope that goes somewhere, but only time will tell, I guess.

Do you have a bad allergy season there? Idaho's gets pretty nasty just due to the amount of sagebrush pollen.

As always, I totally get what you're saying. I've always loved hanging with the crust punk psuedo-anarchists who smoke weed and compare drunken arrest stories, the tolerable hipsters, (you once called yourself a hipster but I have never seen you as one, haha) people in bands and who are majoring in music, and as you perfectly said, the raging alcoholics in training. Very few people drive here, but the one time I borrowed a car, (it was Easter Sunday) I pulled a highly irresponsible move and was driving like a jackass and got the car involved in a small wreck with a hidden median and caused $1,200 of damage ( ... )

Yeah. I have plenty of friends who just don't share my priorities anymore. While it used to be I'd be totally down to get trashed anytime, the more people I've seen that sort of lifestyle catch up to, the less I'd like to give it an opportunity to catch up with me.

I think Bukowski is great. I just have no interest in emulating him ;)

I've been practicing guitar pretty much nonstop for the past few months. The improvement is showing. I'm getting much better at it. Really, that's all it is, is practice. The one thing that sucks about getting better is that playing simple things gets really, really boring after a while.
