I hope so! That was definitely the idea. Any groundbreaking study introduces a new term to the consciousness of its readers, and I saw this as a way to stick retailers with a name that, before long, would have a negative connotation.

It's like Chris Rock - there's black people, then there's "niggers". In the gaming world, there are game stores, and then there are VGRs. That's the idea.

Thanks.. really glad you liked it. I really have no respect for those places. As if the other aspects of the industry aren't bad enough, now gamers everywhere are subject to this crap. And most of them don't know any better, so they put up with it.

If this feature even got one gamer to not return to his or her local VGR, then I'm happy.
