Cory and I went to Border's tonight. She got this wedding checklist book thing that's thicker than any history book I've ever had. I bought two books - "The Groom's Guide" and "The Groom's Book". Apparently, there's a lot that goes into this whole wedding thing ( Read more... )

Cory's going to be a bridesmaid next month, and I swear with all the shit she's had to do, you'd think she was the one getting married!

This wedding stuff is no joke, man. Put it off for as long as you can.

My mother essentially became an unofficial wedding planner for my cousin's wedding...and my god. Just wait until you start seating people, if you do such a thing. Or maybe your families have far less infighting than my own. Because...it would have been ugly, I tell ya.

Congrats on the whole thing, though. I would have left it earlier, but thought I'd wait until the people you actually know got theirs in. Good on ya.

Thanks McNutt. Much appreciated... and you're welcome to chime in with your thoughts whenever you feel it's the right time to do so.

As for seating, fuck it. Let the people decide where they want to sit. By that time, I'll probably hate everyone and everything in the world, so I don't see myself placing much of a premium on seating. But if relatives get involved, all bets are off.
