He did have a great comeback... for the first year. But then he became really unreliable. Remember that year when he didn't play in the regular season just so he could play in the Olympics? It's just a shame about his back, because he'd still be the best player in the NHL (if it was still active).
Lance Armstrong had a good comeback. Saku Koivu also had a worthwhile return. I'm sure, that with any regular viewing of a 6 PM EST Sportscenter, you can find remarkable comebacks by athletes.
Don't automatically write off your return to Rapid Fire as a Prime Time flame out... It could be recieved as an Armstrong like return. Just write five more like it.
Koivu's comeback was a lot better than people give it credit for. If they won the Cup, it'd be a much bigger deal. And Armstrong, I'm an idiot for forgetting about.
I just get the impression that there have been far more failed comebacks than successful ones. I could be wrong about this, though.

Yeah, you've now got "This Fire" stuck in my head. Thanks a lot.
Looking forward to reading the column on Monday. When it comes to comebacks...I got nothing. Sorry. Although, I'm a big fan of Metroid's comeback in the form of Prime/Fusion in 2002. That was a good comeback. I've got Metroid on the brain, digging into Prime 2 recently.
