OK a parlay is a multi-team bet where all of your teams have to cover the spread. Unlike a teaser, where you get points to play with, a parlay is straight spread, and any loss of any of your teams means you don't get it.

Your odds are pretty sweet with the parlay, which is why it's so popular. I don't know what most of them are, but they're on the site. I know that a two-team parlay gives you odds of 13-5, so my $5 bet would have netted me $13 if I had won. So if you were to bet $10 on a parlay, you'd get $26 if you won; whereas if you just put $5 on two separate bets, you'd only stand to win $20 max. If you do a 3-team parlay, your odds jump to 6-1. But if any of those three teams lose, you're fucked.

And the Bobcats messed with me too - they were down 6 with like 3 minutes left, leaving me with a glimmer of hope that was soon snatched away by Kobe The Rapist and his crew of flunkies.
