Being from somewhere would really mean something because getting from one place to another would take forever, so we’d never leave and some kind of cultural identity would form to replace the suburban mega-mall sprawl that marks the face of every city like a pox. lauren and i were reading this and we just had a total flashback to computer class in fourth grade and shooting buffalo and picking what month to leave town and getting bitten by snakes and crossing rivers in a covered wagon.
but that's not what i wanted to point out.
i really really liked the last line. i think i might use it in a song.
