1) Wanda broke up with Benton because he was always depressed and she couldn't make him happy. What if he had said she was the only thing that kept him happy, yet he still didn't seem happy when they were together? sure, i don't know everything that's implied with what's rolling around in your head, but.. anyhow:

point 3) i totally agree. it makes people sound ignorant. i myself try to watch it and realize that i often cuss way too often. it's for emphasis, right? if you use it for a reason other than emphasis you're essentially taking the emphasis out of it b/c the idea of emphasis is that it's some thing or word not used often.

point 2) one of the worst movies i've ever seen was at baxter (not to diss them or anything): full frontal. i should've known better, though. it was an obvious "hollywood-going-independent-and-artsy" kind of film which means that it will only make you think about how dumb and ridiculously overdone the movie was.

I'm not ignorant enough to think any movie that Baxter decides to show is automatically a good movie. I just don't like when people assume that anyone who regularly sees movies there is a movie snob or something.

ugh, to bad Full Frontal was a good movie. i think it was a decent look at film and hollywood. however, i think you have to really appreciate steven soderbergh or film in general to really like it. and so what if he directs Ocean's 11 and then does this little movie? he's a filmmaker. that's what they are supposed to do. although he did say it was a creative exercise for himself, i think he has the right to direct whatever the hell he wants to and it have no relevance to the last movie he directed. whatever suits your fancy i suppose.
