You should give me a call sometime. Do it late at night, when everyone's asleep, and the bugs are chatting too, and the roar of televisions and cars is gone. Hopefully, i'll have napped all through the afteroon, that way i won't be tired. I'll pour a glass of wine anyway, then maybe i'll be able to sleep later. That was incredible Matt.

And my thoughts are in the same place there.

(I'd like to magically get a call at night sometime soon. Those make me the happiest. Nothing beats a call at 2:00 from someone who isn't drunk but who actually just wants to talk. I adore it.)

that was really insightful. and quite...romantic. wow. i am definitely impressed. it reminds me of a neutral milk hotel song. such a simple thought, on a simple action, yet so wonderfully beautiful. Oh the perfect simplicities of life! you know, the ones we all take for granted. Like holding hands, or the "smell of honey suckles," finding a quarter, a "late night conversation." I live for those rare moments of complete happiness. In a world of complete chaos driven by money and materialistic gain, it seems like the only thing worth living for is a call at 2 o'clock in the morning from someone who really cares. You're wonderful, i'll call you.

that doesn't belong here

it belongs in a journal that someone finds 100 years from now and it makes them cry to read it
