alex found an abandoned baby duck egg. we named it. and our keeping it. i hope it hatches and doesnt die bc i almost cried today when she came in and said something was wrong with it and i have had it for like 3 hours. everyone should wish it hatches. ha thanks. do you really think i am that stupid really??? of course it is under a lamp and i have to move it an odd number of times a day. DUH thanks for having a little bit of hope in me nathan.

keep the egg in an incubator at 99-100 degrees
this will enhance its chance of hatching

also, hold the egg up to a candle or light to see if blood vessels are forming. This way you can see if the embryo is still alive

my cousins used to raise ducks and i remember it was important to to keep them dry, but really i have no idea why. ew rhyme

yeah you're definitely going to need an incubator.
i had a duck once. a chicken, too.
ducky lucky and chicken licken.
