Happy Australia Day!

Happy Birthday mom! Today was another lazy day. I’m trying to avoid the sun for a few days because once I go to Singapore I will be outdoors a lot. What did I do today...I slept...a lot! And then I got up and went to the library to catch up on emails and finally upload the India pictures. They have been a long time coming. Tomorrow is mom’s birthday so I want to try to call her but it depends on if I get the computer or not. Anyways, 1 week till I leave, I can’t wait!

On our last morning there we slept through breakfast unfortunately. We did go to play mini golf, and that's when I passed the gym, its only 1 room with basic equipment, but it will get the job done if need be. Today we were all up at a decent time and ready to hit the town. We spent quite some time looking into pkg’s offered and what we could do during our short trip here. Today we all woke up super late, and then there was a bit of a panic. We had a flight to catch from Brisbane and we hadn’t even started packing. Because we were only going for a few days we figured the essentials would do, and everything had to work with a carry on. Today there was some serious planning being done. The weather is supposed to be incredible this weekend, school is not yet in full swing, and everyone could use some sun and sand. Today during the day we didn’t do much, I spent a lot of time in the library again. Finally a fun night to go out today was girl’s night and we were going to some uni event. I went with rasik’s room mates and his gf. We all got dressed up and ready to party. It still feels a bit weird to write 2011, and I feel like it takes me about a year to get used to the date, and by that time I have to start all over again. The sun is fully out by 5 am, now I understand what they mean by Australia is so beautiful and sunny. I can definitely get used to this 30 + weather.
