I love Christmas. To me, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year, or at least it would be if it didn't last 3 freaking months! This is a pet peeve that I have long held and I thought most everyone else was with me on this, so why is it that Walmart and Target had Christmas decorations for sale when I was in there shopping for a fan for my ( Read more... )

Ooh, sorry, so close. That is Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. It's from the episode "Fullmetal vs. Flame" where he and Roy Mustang are having their alchemist certification duel and they destroy the parade grounds in the process.

So when exactly does Happy Pre-Christmas turn into Merry Christmas? Or does it go straight to Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on December 1?

Wow, you've got a set on you. Saying Merry Christmas in public? That's enough to get convicted of a hate crime around here.

If you're in like-minded company, however, I think December 1st to January 2nd (or 6th, depending) is just fine for a nice Merry Christmas. Doing it in November just feels wrong.
