Why in science fiction (which is watched by nerds, geeks, etc) are time travel episodes considered to be the best episodes? Is it because we find it to be real cool or is it cause we'd want to go back in time and fix something?
ok, the 1969 episode of sg-1 was really cool not only for the time travel part... i mean, the time travel part was cool, but all the other things about that episode also made it cool (like jackson figuring out where everything/one should have been, the hippie van, and teal'c's interaction with the hippies, etc.)... but that episode had a LOT more than just the time travel going for it. there were other sg-1 time travel episodes that didn't make it to the marathon :)
