I haven't watched Downton in forever. What's up with Thomas?

Basically, they gave him a storyline that needed a lot more time that it got given - he'd become a bit of a pantomime villain and then they finally started to do something else with him and it got less time that silly little sub-plots which was frustrating.

SHAMELESS IS FLAWLESS. I'm so excited for season 5 starting soon!

Me too! I've missed seeing Timothy Omundson on my screen and, well, there's songs and knights and *dances*

I stopped watching Supernatural at the beginning of season 8 because it became more of a chore to me to watch the episodes than anything else. I have heard that it gets A LOT better though so I'm really considering going back to it. Besides, I miss Sam and Dean.

Season 8 is the point where I stopped watching for a long time, too. And then I kept drifting back in and watching the odd couple of episodes then getting tired of it again. Season 10, though, has been much, much better, I think - I've been watching it weekly most of the time and then the 200th episode happened and I actually felt the same happy feeling I used to feeling watching the early seasons. I just hope it continues!

I think Sam and Dean have been more like themselves again this series as well, which is nice.

There were some good episodes and some absolutely awful episodes this season on "Doctor Who". I thought that they recycled a lot of old storylines this season on "Downton Abbey". As for the Christmas special, they kind of hyped Matthew Goode's guest appearance but I felt it was kind of let down. Especially since we know he/his character won't be back, him being a regular on "The Good Wife" and all. Really enjoyed Thomas though and all the downstairs craziness.

Yeah, I thought Matthew Goode would be in the Christmas special more than he was - it's frustrating because I thought there was actually great chemistry between him and Mary in the scenes he was in, something I didn't get with Gillingham.

I preferred Blake to Gillingham, of course he wasn't as handsome I suppose but at least he was witty. I'm sad that Tom is leaving - I don't know which years the next season will encompass... I kind of hope that Black Thursday will bring him and Sibby back to England.

Blake was definitely better! He could still come back, I suppose, with the time jumps etc that Downton often do.

Oh, I know - I really hope he returns, won't be the same without him!
