I stood in line for an hour and 40 minutes to vote for Obama...and still my darned state's electorial votes went to McCain. *sigh* Oh well, it's the results that matter...and I'M SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY!! It will be refreshing to have a president that I honestly believe will do the best job he possibly can for the country. Heaven knows, we didn't get anything but grief from the Bush duo.
Don't know if Bush and Cheney & gang will ever be brought to justice for all the dismantling they did. We've got a very big job ahead. But if we can stay united, stay positive and BE the change we so urgently desire, there's hope! It's so inspiring to see the rest of the world's reaction, too, like we got a little bit of grace back after all the 9/11 outpouring was squandered. Sorry you had to wait in line so long. But at least your vote counted this time.
