I'm sitting in the Phoenix airport waiting for my connecting flight home, so I figured this would be a good time to write about the rest of my LA trip!
I am totally jealous that you got to go to Lamill because I never made it there when I was in LA this summer, and I didn't get to see a coyote either, boo!
Thanks, bb! The coyote was completely random....I had no idea there was even a possibility of seeing wildlife in LA! I 'm glad I made it to Lamill, but now I need to figure out where else to go next time so I don't just keep going back to the same places (although, that might not be so bad either...)
If it was Los Feliz you drove through you may have passed the Pinto houses! Though I think they live quite a bit away from each other from what I can make out, on either side of the borough. You probably drove between the two!
I'm so jealous of your trip to Lamill too. If I ever get to LA again that's the first place I want to go to.
Yes I did! I am totally an East Coast girl, so I'm still in awe of the palm trees and hills and just how different the whole landscape is there. I'd been to San Francisco a few times and down the coast, but never to SoCal. It just added to the crazy driving, because I wanted to look at everything at the same time as not crashing and not getting (too) lost!
Yeah, the police thing was crazy. When I realized what was going on, I was kinda like "oh my god, this is a crazy adventure!" Then I was like "oh, shit.." Luckily it all turned out ok (for me. Probably not so much for the guy in handcuffs.)
I'll definitely be going back, maybe as soon as January! Can't wait!
