Yuletide and some recs
Yesterday I posted a link to the New Girl fic that I wrote for Yuletide, but I also wanted to post links to the 3 (3!) gifts that I received. I guess that's one benefit of being defaulted on and having my requests sent out for a pinch hit! :-)
The fics that I received were:
Apologies - American Horror Story, Chad/Patrick, plus lots of the other AHS S1 characters making an appearance. Chad is so snarky in this. I heart Chad.
Two Hours and Three Vodkas Later - Doctor Who RPF, John Barrowman/David Tennant - these two hotties get drunk and make out. Can't complain :-D
After All - CinderFella, CinderFella/Prince Charming - GAY DISNEY PRINCES. Need I say more? I think not. Besides that now I now actually want to write my own fic for this random-ass youtube video. Sigh.
Recently, I really haven't had much time to read fic, but I made the time to read a few recently and I wanted to rec them here.
Tribute by the_deep_magic - This fic is everything that I was hoping for when I suggested that someone write Chris as Finnick and Zach as Cinna from The Hunger Games. And obviously it is so much more than I expected, seeing as the_deep_magic actually took up the challenge and did her usual stellar job with the idea! It has just the exactly perfect amount of angst, and hotness, and sweetness, and fits perfectly into The Hunger Games universe. Anyway, if you like The Hunger Games and/or Pinto, go read!
How Long Will You Stay (For Your Whole Life) by withthepilot - A Star Trek (Kirk/McCoy) Parks and Rec AU. The characterizations are perfection, and it's full of rom-commy goodness and hilarity. This is a must read no matter what, but if you like Parks and Rec, it's like a must, MUST read! :-)
I may add some more recs here as I'm able to catch up on more fic!
