Fake Holiday Awareness Week

I am declaring this week Fake Holiday Awareness Week. We should be aware that there are fake holidays getting very little attention. Par example: nobody on my Friends list---a very literary bunch---marked the passing of Bloomsday, last Friday. I wish I could say I forgot it was Bloomsday, but no, guys, I remembered. Where were you? I was working.

I know! I asked around here if they ever had Juneteenth-related activities at school---I figured no one outside of the south had heard of it. I was right.

June is also Dairy Month, originally National Milk Month, established 1937. Hug a cow this month!
