I mailed this letter to the White House today. It isn't as noteworthy as a politician willfully stepping down from duty but I felt its absurdity matches that of Dubya's mental health & prowess.

I'm not banking on it, but I'm leaning toward the optimism these days. No, it may not swing us away from actually getting involved in more in stupid war manouvers, but I still think that anytime someone makes a move like this man has, the ripples are felt in the world. Even though for you and I in particular, it's preaching to the already converted, there are those out there that possibly this one letter is worded in a way and effective enough for it to make the picture a little clearer for them or to start to question it a little more. Even though it doesn't solve the problem I believe it does change something.
