I tried writing 2 updates within the past few years but ended up getting frustrated with my rambling and gave up, so...here's the short (relative to my long-windedness) story with long sentences about what's going/gone on in my life:

I saw a picture of Silas the other day. What are you feeding him? Or is that just how big they get normally? Man, this time just won't stop flying!
2010 will be here in a few more minutes I guess.
Well send our love to Sam and Silas and explain who we are to Silas. I'm pretty sure Sam remembers us.
Sweet hugs from the carribean!

I looked you up a bit, saw you still had the same old website, and your still had your flickr (with wedding photos!) and thought about writing you, felt shy, next day saw this.
I have a few people I need to see in Chicago (including an old friend who I finally screwed up my courage to webstalk and write, so you'd think I'd get over it) and I think I need to go out there when you go "home."
And yes, I'll vote for you. :)

Oh yeah, I have a show in SF in January too, hopefully you can make it! I keep forgetting all the folks I know that live out there.
Thanks a ton for your vote, Jette!

I'm doing really well these days. I had an insane leg break several months back and had to have a titanium rod inserted down the center of my femur. That was a skateboarding injury...the kind that says, "Hey, slow down old man!" But I'm walking around fine now and just trying to get my full strength back in that leg. No complaints.
And yep, the house is doing really well, quite luxurious compared to when we got here. We just got a couple air conditioners installed the other day and that's been an amazing addition to this hot, humid summer life. This is going to be our last summer here before we move back to Chicago next spring. We're not exactly in a rush to move back but are definitely excited for the change. Just feeling like it's time to get back and have some more midwestern city life adventures for a while.
How about yourself?
