Why do they call brick 'permanent materials'?

A bit earlier than I generally like my wake-up calls...

The worst damage here is that Theo ran away this morning, and we haven't seen him since. There is some physical damage too, but our house isn't about to collapse or anything so we're not too worried about it for now.

He'll just be scared and hiding somewhere; he'll come home eventually for snuggles and food.

So the house is in reasonable repair?

That's pretty much what we're hoping for now. We're a little worried that he may have run too far and gotten lost or something though.

Not too bad. We've got a little bit of brick that will need repair, and some cracked plaster and windows, but mostly the woodwork seems to have held up very well.

Are you online?

We're missing Nutkin here -- not entirely surprising.

I'm glad to hear from someone there - I heard the news today and was worried for everyone I know over there. It's good to hear that you've come through OK. Best wishes to everyone.

*hugs* Glad to hear from you and am impressed you've managed to get online; I thought that the phone lines were down?

Has Theo turned up yet? He knows where you are and where home is, so I'm sure he will turn up eventually.
