Super-awesome: I got my new laptop! Yaaaaaay! It's blue and shiny and has a sweet keyboard, and I named it Chrono. I'm probably going to be spending all night transferring my bookmarks to Opera and installing Sims3

I just found out so I may as well tell you: if your computer is good, the sims 3 will get all excited and try to crank the frame rate through the roof, overheating your machine and causing crashes. A friend said they clocked it at 120fps before installing a limiter.
I'm going to try enabling vsync and see if it fixes it for me, i'm sick of it crashing after five minutes of play.
