More of this weird newcomer
I posted these in the DoA gallery, but expect zero comments there. XD At least here, I can keep a good record of dollie character developments! ;)
So after a little bit of thinking on this new dollie of mine, I decided that I'm gonna call him Courtney, because he looks like Courtney Love with his messy eye makeup & bleached blond hair. XD I've also been plotting his backstory after deciding on that! I'll still probably either want to repaint him myself (and try for better eyelashes at the very least) or send him to someone who can actually paint well. :U
Anyways, Courtney is an ex-child actor, having been in a bunch of commercials and a short-lived tv show. He also unfortunately ended up in rehab several times for alcohol & drug addiction before he was even 20 years old. (His favorites were whiskey & coke [cocaine] and thought it was pretty hilarious to say so.) He finally went in for the last time right before his 21st birthday, and after staying in for nearly a year, he came out and has been clean ever since.
Luckily he had some money set up for him in a trust fund when he was little that he got access to when he left rehab, and has been living on that. It wasn't much though, and he's taken odd jobs here and there over the years since. Currently, he's trying to get a job dj-ing at the place Nomiki & Andres work. He also works part time at an aquarium store during the day, as he finds watching the fish relaxing.
He's kind of an odd-ball, but is pretty determined to do better than he did in the past.
He smoked for a couple years after rehab, though he's quit now.
He keeps an unlit cigarette with him, usually either in his hand or tucked behind his ear.
"This is the first one I decided not to smoke."

So I guess I'm keeping him around for now! :B Gotta look into getting him a body, but probably not right away. I do hate having floating heads though, so who knows. At first I wasn't too keen on him on SD17, but I'm getting used to it. I don't know, he was mostly an experiment, so nothing's really fixed just yet. Coming up with backstory is always fun though, so if I enjoy having him around, he might end up staying. When did I get so fickle? XD;
