So 4-H weekend was great! Even though we drove up to Truro with 3 winter tires and 1 summer because one of our tires decided to be punctured by a rock so badly that the guy at the garage couldn't patch it on Friday. And the trip home was a 3 hr. slow trip (no one really drove that fast due to all of the rain and wind) in a roughly 35 degree ( Read more... )

good, I'm excited already:) But the first order of business is exhibition....you and Connie will be there...no? (July 25-31) If I get the job of barn worker I've applied for I'll be stuck in the barn from 7-3 most days so you need to keep me company since the rest of my generation seems to have outside jobs that week.

hahaha, did I REALLY succeed in calming you down any? Because I don't think I did.
What are hosts/hostesses?
Ugh, turkeys. My sister Megan had to take care of a bunch when she was going to the AC. I remember them being smelly, wimpy, and not a little stupid. If they got loose, she couldn't chase them back in their pens, but they'd follow her. *shakes head*

Well, a little bit, she called afterward to tell me(at 9 the night before) that she wasn't going...I didn't even get a reason.
There's a competition including an interview, sight reading and impromtu speech about a topic you've been given about 2 minutes before you go onto stage. Host=guys Hostess=girls. Basically you have representatives from each region (ours being South Shore) that compete at the Provincial levels after having won in their county and region.
Yeah, they are definitely wimps, I'm thankful I'm not in the market turkey project right about now.
